ICL Tri Series kicked off today with the match between the Indian XI and the World XI. The match was dominated through out by the World XI side. The Indian XI side started on the back foot losing early wickets and being restricetd to 9-4 in 3 overs. But Rohan Gavaskar and TP Singh formed a good partnership and with a quick little knock by Binny in d end they managed to reach 141-5 after 20 overs. But this total was too little for the World XI side n they easily cruised to victory in 18.3 overs.
The difference in quality was clearly seen between the two sides.
