West Indies skipper Chris Gayle has arrived in Kolkata to join the Knight Riders ahead of their crucial match against Chennai on Saturday.
Gayle, who had been suffering from groin injury during the home series against Sri Lanka, is expected to start training with the squad on Thursday.
The Kolkata team, who have pocketed four points from two wins, will take on Dhoni's Chennai on Saturday at the MA Chidambaram Stadium.
Pakistani cricketers Umar Gul and Salman Butt are also expected to join the side by Thursday.
