Fabio Capello is ready to meet with Paul Scholes and Jamie Carragher in a bid to tempt them both out of international retirement. 33-year-old Scholes quit England after Euro 2004 - whilst Carragher, 30, gave up international duty in 2007. Both players are continuing to perform at the top of their game for their clubs, Manchester United and Liverpool, and the Italian is keen to have them both available to him. "There are players that don't want to be part of England like Paul Scholes and Jamie Carragher. They are very good players and the door is always open," Capello told The People. "But you can't force anyone to play for you. "The most important thing is for the players to love the shirt and want to play for the shirt. It is down to them."
